Operating water temperature range: 40 – 100 °F
Maximum TDS: 750 ppm

This economical, 5-stage, Reverse Osmosis-based filtration systems and point-of-use water softener removes virtually all contaminants from your drinking water, leaving you with pure, clear, clean, great-tasting water and nothing else! Backed by superior iSpring quality and customer service, here is a system that will give you many years of trouble-free, low maintenance peace of mind.

The RCC7 is a multi-layered filter system that provides optimal protection against over 1,000 different types of contaminants, including arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, hormones, fluoride, lead, mercury, sodium, bacteria, giardia, viruses and more.

The system consists of 5 different stages, each one designed to progressively remove contaminants and improve water quality: 3 Pre-filters: – Polypropylene (PP) sediment filter. – Granular activated charcoal (GAC) filter. – Carbon block (CTO) filter. These three pre-filters remove large contaminants and protect the RO membrane from chemicals like chlorine and chloramines. – The heart of the system is the state-of-the art Reverse Osmosis (RO) filter that removes contaminants down to 0.0001 microns – so small that only water molecules can squeeze through but virtually nothing else. – Fine GAC final filter provides final polishing before the purified water is delivered to the faucet.

  • Fine GAC final filter provides final polishing before the purified water is delivered to the faucet.
  • The end result is bottled-water quality, with no 'hardness' and no sodium.
  • The high-throughput RCC7 membrane is rated for up to 75 gallons per day (GPD), ensuring that families of nearly any size will have plenty of clean drinking water available on demand.

The end result is bottled-water quality, with no 'hardness' and no sodium. The high-throughput RCC7 membrane is rated for up to 75 gallons per day (GPD), ensuring that families of nearly any size will have plenty of clean drinking water available on demand.

Provides an easy way to visually inspect the sediment filter and view the contaminants being removed from your water. With the transparent housing you will know it is time for a filter change before a problem occurs.

The advantage of having both 5-micron GAC & CTO filters is that loose carbon (GAC, KDF) is better at trapping large contaminants and removing microorganisms, leaving only smaller ones to the CTO carbon block filter. This allows the CTO filter and RO membrane to function at their maximum efficiency and last longer.

Pros

With the 5 stage filtration process, there is little chance of anything below the standard passing through guaranteeing the user of higher quality and safer water for their home use.

The system takes a shorter time to fill up a tank and hence makes it ideal for larger family and even better for a medium size family.

It is quick and easy to set up with a very informative video on YouTube on how to go around the process making it stress free right from the start.

Comes with a number of highly attractive packs that include a 30 day money back policy, 1 year satisfaction guarantee as well as free lifetime tech support.

Cons

For this system to work, the water pressure needs to be at least 35 psi and hence poses a challenge to areas with low water pressure since a booster pump is only available at an extra cost.

My water is directly from a deep well and has a good amount of sediment and metals in it. The way I have my system set up is with a whole house filter and a scale removal filter installed before the iSpring 5-Stage. I've had this installed for almost a year and it's been great. It completely filters everything bad out of my water and tastes amazing!! Another house who shares the same well as I do has a Culligan installed instead of iSpring, and I have to say hands down the iSpring water tastes 10 times better than the Culligan. The iSpring water also tastes better than the reverse osmosis water stations you can go to in town to buy water. The iSpring is great because there's no monthly fee, the filters are not expensive and are easy to replace, and anyone can install it. Installation was simple enough. The instruction manual is great, it goes into really in-depth detail. And there is also a terrific YouTube online that they created. Together those resources made this a great DIY project. I can't say I've run into any DIY products that combine a great instruction manual with a YouTube video, and iSpring did it brilliantly! I don't have any experience with water filtration and was able to install the whole system on my own. It took me a few hours and then I was done! The one issue I had was with the plastic spigot at the top of the tank. I was unable to install it so that it didn't leak. I ended up buying a metal one at the hardware store and using teflon tape. But I don't have much experience with installing spigots, so probably operator error on my part. So, no complaints there. And customer service… Terrific! Me being new to this whole filtration system, I've had a few questions. I've called the customer service number and mostly I've received a live person on the phone immediately. They've taken the time to answer some of my novice questions and have gone into detail until I really understood. It's been a great learning journey! And when I had an issue with my faucet leaking after a few months, they immediately replaced it under warranty. The USPS carrier had some trouble delivering it correctly, and the iSpring customer service stuck with it to see that I received the faucet with satisfaction, and then even followed up later to make sure I was still happy with it. Again, this is a great system and I think it would be silly to try any other system when the iSpring product and customer service is so terrific.

I received this promptly and in perfect condition. No missing parts, although I did purchase some after market connectors because I wanted to hook up my fridge and ice maker water as well. Very easy to install. The instructions are pretty inclusive and have very good illustrations. There is a great 16 minute video on YouTube which gives excellent step by step for the install. I did contact customer service initially because I had an in depth question about the exact functioning of the two way valve ( I'm a Nerd.) The phone was answered on the third ring and the gentleman I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable and polite. I felt like my business is genuinely appreciated. Better still, these are made in the USA ..!

The entire install took a couple of hours due to the purging of the filters and the storage tank. Otherwise, the install was much easier than I anticipated. Also, it takes up less room under my sink than I had initially thought it would. Make sure to purchase a simple water pressure test gauge and a water quality tester to help in the install …. and give you peace of mind.

As far as taste ….. my water coming into the house tests at 502ppm which is considered “fair” to “good.” The water coming from this filter tests at 23ppm ….. Which is a significant reduction and qualifies as “excellent.” AND, best of all …. My water now has NO taste …. at least none that I can discern… And, believe it or not, the RO water seems to have a different and more pleasing texture as well. My tasteless RO water tastes waaaaay better than the stuff in those plastic bottles and my coffee has improved immensely. Plus, I'm am now contributing far less to the Pacific Ocean Plastic Dump ….. Hurray..! All in all, this is the best water filter system I have ever purchased. Thank you ispring for a fantastic product..!

Water quality is very important if you’re an aquarium lover like me, and I started looking into reverse osmosis systems when I upgraded to a larger aquarium a few months ago. The price for this system is more than reasonable, and it actually delivers great results for the price. A few things to note: it only has about a 2.5 gallon capacity, so this thing isn’t going to filter enough water for your entire house at one time. However, it’s great for aquarium usage. I didn’t think I’d be able to get something that works this well for under $200.

I bought this reverse osmosis filter on amazon, and it’s really good. I isntalled it myself, while my buddies were watching the superbowl. It wasn’t easy, but I managed to get it all setup without too much damage to the house.

When I used a TDS tester to compare it to tap and filtered water, and the ro filtered water had no weird taste, and tested at 9 TDS. On the other hand, the regular tap water, was tested at 42 TDS, and tasted gross.

Before this system, our regular tap water was measured at 300 to 400 TDS range, but now it’s even better.

So far pretty happy with it.

Conclusion

When looking for the finest drinking water available, right in your home, look no further than the iSpring RCC7.
