We have designed our system’s five stages of filtration to work together for long lasting high grade contaminant removal.
Choose the Express Water RO5DX and start drinking healthy today!
- 5 Stages of Pure
- Express Water’s 1st stage is a Sediment filter which helps filter dirt, dust, sand, and rust.
- The 2nd and 3rd stages are Carbon Block and Granular Carbon Filters which focus on pollutants like chlorine, volatile organic chemicals, and odor causing compounds.
- These early stages help extend the life of the 4th stage, the RO Membrane. The Membrane focuses on the most difficult contaminants like lead, arsenic, chromium, fluoride, TDS, radium and others.
- The 5th stage is a Post Activated Carbon Filter which does a final pass on your water, right before it comes through the faucet, removing any possible taste or odor.
- It’s the combination of these stages that’s given countless customers water purer than bottled water straight from their faucet.

This is a best quality system. I order 2 system from them in one moth. One of them has problem with the tank, the support team call me 2 hours after I was send the email, and the replace tank came three days after. Excellent tech support, and good price. Extra filters will save for another year. Fast delivery, Very easy installation. The system came with white housing and I request them to change all for clear housing. They change it with no extra charge. I can see all the filters though the clear housings. The water came into the first housing. When I see the filter dirty, I change this filter more frequently to keep other filers last longer. Thanks

I recently Purchased the 5 Stage Home Drinking Reverse Osmosis System PLUS Extra Full Set- 4 Water Filter from Express Water.
I purchased this unit for our home, it was installed under the kitchen sink. Due to my hobby (obsession) of salt water reef tanks, throughout the years I have purchased and used numerous reverse osmosis deionization units from many various companies. The unit I currently use for my reef tank doesn’t require a storage tank but came with a dual TDS (total dissolved solids) meter and deionization stage to remove the last of the TDS. That unit cost twice as much as the unit from Express Water, HOWEVER it falls short of the quality unit I just installed from Express Water. This 5 stage unit is far more superior to the one I paid twice as much for.
For example, this product takes into consideration the task of replacing the filters, they equipped their units with swivel connection to allow for the membrane canister to be open without having to remove the ¼” tubing (which illuminates the possibility to form leaks after a few times of disconnecting and reconnecting the line)
They also perform a pressure test of the membrane canister to ensure no leaks prior to shipment (no other unit that I purchased in the past did that)
The instruction booklet was very clear and even offered color pictures, diagrams and schematics to aid in easy installation. And to go one step further, each connection that needed to be made to the inlet water, waste water, storage tank, and faucet were labeled on the unit itself. This company clearly understands the complexity of tackling a task like this and has taken every step to eliminate frustration, making it easy for just about any skill level to tackle this job.
After installation I followed the instructions and allowed the tank to fill up and then drain it completely, the water was blackish/grey (which is normal due to the final carbon filter being flushed out) then after filling it again I tested the TDS, 7ppm which tells me the unit is doing its job but I knew it could do better than that, in which I then emptied the tank for a second time and let it fill back up. The TDS meter reading the second time was 2ppm…. MUCH BETTER.
You can’t have the good without the bad: the provided ½” slip joint adapter for the feed water wouldn’t work for the shut off valve I had under the sink, my valve has a 3/8” outlet. Luckily I had the right 3/8” adapter handy in my miscellaneous parts from all the other units I’ve had over the years and installed it instead. I’m not sure how feasible it would be to add that adapter to the list but it will save some frustration. I looked on line and currently this part can be purchased for $13 (JG Speedfit ASVPP1LF 3/8-Inch by 3/8-Inch by 1/4-Inch Angle Stop Adapter Valve). Please be sure to take that into consideration when purchasing this unit.
And Lastly, The wrench that was provided is to aid opening the large canisters during filter replacement. However the membrane housing is slightly smaller and the wrench provided will not aid in opening it. This housing was really hard to open and takes some muscle power to get it open. There is a filter wrench to open housing however it wasn’t provided. I can’t provide a name or part number for that though because there’s many options to choose from. However for me, I was lucky enough to have one handy to get it open.
If those 2 concerns were addressed and rectified I would give this purchase and experience 5 gold stars. All in all, the best unit money can buy. I would recommend this unit to anyone that is in the market for a whole home RO unit.

First of all, a disclaimer. I haven’t had this system running, so I can’t speak of how well it performs. But due to what I read in the manual when I received it, I decided not to install this system and returned it. The maintenance sounds quite involved and time-consuming.
I have a Pelican brand RO filter elsewhere in my house that requires only the changeout of two different filter cartridges periodically (and flushing system afterwards). The Express Water unit, in addition to replacement of all the filters, requires a periodic extensive cleaning process that apparently involves draining and dismantling the entire thing, cleaning “internal housing areas” with soap and water, and then running disinfectant through various parts. (I’m not sure what kind of disinfectant; the manual doesn’t give any information.) It sounded pretty laborious, and I’m not even sure I could get access to do this kind of cleaning in the cramped space where it would have been installed.
Another issue is that there doesn’t seem to be any specific information about how often the filters need to be changed, or which replacement filters the company sells go with this unit. Neither the manual nor the company website say. Also, the information on when to replace the membrane is vague (“usually every 1-2 years”).
The Pelican RO filter has a much higher initial cost than the Express Water, which is what prompted me to order, but I think I would rather dispense with complex maintenance routine. In addition, the installation of Pelican is much simpler, as most of the parts are in one unit rather than being so many separate components.
Again, to be fair, this may be an excellent RO filter in operation, but before you purchase, you might want to look over the manual to see if it is for you. (I did try doing this before purchase, but product manuals don’t seem to be available on the company’s website; maybe you could request a pdf from them.)

I've used a reverse osmosis filter for the past 13 years. Mine finally quit making water and the manufacturer wasn't being helpful. I was going to start replacing parts until I found the bad one when I saw the price on this unit. It not only works as well as my much more expensive old unit, but it came with a spare set of filters. I could not be more pleased. I have mine mounted on a wall near my hot water heater because it is more convenient. Since I was replacing an existing unit I didn't have to tap a supply line or drain.
Caution. When I turned on the water for the first time, water squirted from every connection. The water lines use a friction fit instead of screw on connector. You simply press the hose into the fitting, pull out a collet and snap on a lock ring. When you press the hose in it seems to stop, but it still isn't far enough. Press harder and it will go another 1/8 inch or so and then you won't need a mop.
Conclusion
This product is absolutely wonderful! It works perfectly and deliver delicious water.
