My nails! Wow. I have always wanted, and never been able to grow out my nails. They would always break or split and were super soft. I never imagined that adding collagen could make such a difference.

ORIGINAL POST: I bought this collagen as an easy way to add more protein to my diet. I like this brand because it's completely tasteless and dissolves in absolutely anything. I add it to my coffee every morning. Post-workout, I'll add it to a smoothie. I'd also heard collagen is good for joint pain, so I was curious, but skeptical if it would work. I convinced my boyfriend to try it with the argument that (1) he's really bad at eating breakfast and at least with this he gets in some protein and (2) maybe this would help with the arthritis he has in his shoulder due to a sports injury. He rolled his eyes at me but agreed to try it. Nothing else has worked. He had surgery on his shoulder last year, and that only helped somewhat. We tried glucosamine for a month, but that didn't help at all. Until about a week ago, almost every night he put on an expensive prescription pain patch to sleep through the night. After a month of taking this collagen, he is pain free for the first time in years! Doesn't need the pain patch. Doesn't need advil. Doesn't need ice. Now that his pain is gone, my next trick is getting him to the gym. I'm also going to recommend my dad try this for a month. Will it work when you are 80? Not sure, but it's worth a try.

I am almost finished with this container and I feel like I can write an honest. To say that I am amazed is an understatement. It has been years since I was able to walk up and down our front steps, which there are only 8, like a normal person. Using this product has made that possible. It may be placebo, but I feel like a million bucks every time I have this stuff. Every morning it super charges me like coffee. It is tasteless and mixes well in smoothies as long as you don't dump it in the bottom because it sticks to plastic. It mixes best in hot beverages like tea. I add it to food and haven't had a problem yet with it clumping or anything. I'm a big fan if the book Eat Dirt by Dr. AXE. He also has a collagen product, but I love this one and don't feel the need to get any other product. This is pasture raised, so that's good enough for me!

This is my second container of the collagen. I didn't want to give a review until I've used it consecutively for a couple months so I could give an honest review. When I first bought this, I wasn't expecting much. I have had severe right knee pain for the last couple years, Went to PT and nothing seemed to help. Every time I would try to exercise it would hurt so bad I would have to take a few days off before starting again. Within 2 weeks of taking this collagen twice a day my knee pain doesn't exist anymore. I have a scoop in my green tea in the morning when I wake up then another scoop in a cup of tea after working out. Then before bed I have one last scoop in my sleepytime tea. I've also tried it in water, No weird taste, dissolves completely. I slacked off on taking the collagen to see what would happen with my knee. Within 3 days the pain was back just as bad as before. I won't ever not take this daily. To be fair, I have never tried another brand of collagen so I don't have anything to compare it to but as long as this keeps working, I”ll keep buying it.

I don't usually write reviews but I am pretty impressed with this product. We have been taking it for about 3 months now and we have seem real results. Although we didn't really notice anything immediately we continued taking it daily. In about 2 weeks we both felt less muscle soreness and inflammation.
