I started making smoothies to help with weight loss and control. I'm 52 years old, I've suffered sever stiffness with too much weight for a few years. I started to drink a fruit/yogurt smoothie in the AM and a later afternoon chocolate/protein smoothie. I've include one scoop of this product in all of my the smoothies from the very start. After 3 weeks I felt slimmer, healthier and far less bloated. I'm completely full of energy, as well as feeling much less all-over body inflammation/joint pain/stiffness. I started to wonder, is it the healthier eating that's lead to the increased energy or this product.. So, for 3 days I omitted the product and OMG, I within 2 days I felt the sluggishness come back around. I immediately started back and immediately my energy is back on top. So, this product absolutely gives you more energy.
TASTE: OK, yes..it is sweet, but I mix it in with my smoothies so the sweetness keeps me from having to add a shot of honey/agave nectar or extra banana. The day I realized my energy was gone without it, I actually stirred a scoop of the powder into 4 oz of ice cold water and shot it back. The taste was sweet and green-earthy and very much like what another reviewer called the flavor of left over “cereal milk.” My energy returned within 1 hour and that was at 8pm, but the energy is not 'speed-like' and jittery…..it's just good and positive. I went to bed that night by 10pm and slept soundly.
I could try other mixes, but this one suits me fine, makes me feel great and is priced right.

Just recently purchased this and have already noticed a big difference in my waist line and energy levels. I hit the gym way harder this morning than I have in a long time.
