Hi, I bought one of these ionizer/alkalizers a few years ago. It stopped alkalizing a long time ago but I kept using it for the filter. The machine itself is very cheap, but the price is for what they call a 'lifetime warranty'. Beware, this is a massive scam. The customer service is terrible, and I desperately wish I had not engaged with this toxic and unethical company. What they don't and won't tell you is that if there is anything wrong with the machine, then the warranty is void. For me, even though I used their citrus cleaning filters, which you have to purchase but they don't do a thing, after spending $40.00 to send my machine in to utilize the warranty, I was told that I had to pay $99.00 to have the ionizer plates cleaned, and that my warranty was void because I hadn't 'cleaned' my machine, even though they never tell you what they actually mean by that. I was given no warning of these fees beforehand, and was led to believe by the tech people that this would be covered under a warranty. I personally think this company is running a major scam. Once they get your money, they have you in their machine. You are trapped. I liked the water for the short time the machine actually worked, but I would highly recommend that a person find a company with even just adequate customer service and ethical communication.

I've been using my M9 Next Generation Life Ionizer for about 7 months and I love it! Not only is the water refreshing with no chlorine taste, but it's also been helping me tremendously with my chronic constipation problems (I didn't even realize this would be one of the benefits when I purchased the unit). Also, the acidic option has been great for helping the plants grow and also for making my hair grow. This machine is wonderful.
3/10/16 – Updating: Okay, so it's time to order replacement filters. Although I do like the machine, ordering the filters is EXPENSIVE! My first filter order cost $375. Be prepared for that. Also, I have been waiting for the filters to arrive for 3 weeks and no one bothered to tell me that they were on backorder…yet they processed my payment immediately. I don't care much for companies who do that. Process my payment when you ship my merchandise. This is the reason I lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3.

We bought our Countertop water Ionizer in October, 2013 and have been extremely please with the functionality, ease of use and the service. I had doubts about the Company before buying it since some Ionizer Companies are no longer in business. I was concerned about the warranty and service in addition to the quality. There is a lot of marketing hype on the internet and I spent 4 weeks doing all sorts of comparisons. Finally, we decided on buying the M9 and I must confess we hit the jackpot when it comes to drinking quality ionized water. The quality of the product is outstanding and the water we get through the filteration process ( 3 filters i believe) is pleasing to the taste and of very high quality (i ran PH and other water tests to satisfy myself). We have tried to adjust the alkalinity a couple times and have settled on water that suits our body system. Most everybody will arrive at the right alkalinty over time and I am happy we were able to make the adjustment. Additionally, the service has been outstanding. whenever I have called, i have been able to talk to a real person and not had to leave any messages. I sincerely hope other companies can emulate the Life M9 Ionizer machine in terms of quality and the service of its distributors. Thank you Life.

I was introduced to alkaline water at a local café which carried another brand machine. I purchased the water from them by the gallon – glass bottles. Tired of lugging the glass 5 gallon bottles up the stairs, I began to do research into different machines, including the super expensive K brand. It was not a process I rushed through. Different family members were interested in the alkaline water, thus I was eager to find the best one for us. It is my belief, I found the best Alkaline Machine and for the money well worth it.
I ordered the Life Ionizer 9100 with 9 plates and the EFTechnology, as did my daughter. My son purchased the one with the UV lights. I enjoy the clean taste of alkaline water and cannot imagine life without this machine. I wash my produce, meats, and fish in the water. I use the acidic water for skin, hair and cleaning around the house. I remove stains on clothes with acidic water. When I start to feel run down, I remember to turn the machine on and drink the water. I feel energized after a while. It's almost 3 years since the purchase was made, and I can honestly say it was a smart investment.

I have a number of health problems and my mom bought this machine for me. I love the taste of the water and that I'm doing something good for my body. Our tap water is heavily chlorinated and I was always dehydrated because I could not stand the taste. Now I drink about a gallon a day and so does my husband and we both feel better for it. My husband has not had a kidney stone in several years and he was having them a lot. I love that there are other uses for the alkaline and the acidic settings. We use the alkaline to wash fruits and veggies and to cook with. I use the acidic setting number 1 as a final rinse when washing my hair and it makes it shine. We use this setting for brushing out teeth and it helps to keep the plaque away. There are other cleaning uses for the acidic settings too. Also, for the women out there, the acidic setting at 3.0-4.0 is great for douching as this is your body's natural ph level for that area. We love our machine and would not want to be without it and highly recommend it to all.
