-AMAZING CHOCOLATE FLAVOR: Infused with organic Peruvian cacao, organic Himalayan pink salt, organic coconut milk, a dash of organic stevia and organic monk fruit, this vegan chocolate protein blend is simply delicious!

-5 PROTEIN BLEND: We incorporate 100% non-GMO Pea, Flax Seed, Quinoa, Pumpkin Seed and Chia Seed Protein into our proprietary formula, all of which are USDA organic, gluten, soy and dairy free.
-DIGESTIVE MOJO: Our raw vegan protein powder is composed of healthy fibers and digestive enzymes that help your digestive system run efficiently.

-SUSTAINABLE ENERGY: Plant based products require less resources than animal products to manufacture, leaving behind a smaller environmental footprint during production. Enjoy a vegan protein shake and make a difference!

-ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS: We are dedicated to bringing you the best quality vegan organic protein powder ingredients. Add 2 scoops to cold water for delicious plant based protein shakes, include in your favorite smoothie, or bake something tasty for a healthy vegan snack.

INGREDIENTS:
Organic Pea Protein: Those peas you used to move endlessly around the dinner plate as a kid? They’re a complete source of protein. If only you’d known! You see, peas contain those branched chain amino acids that contribute to building muscle, burning fat, and repairing your exhausted clockworks after a strenuous workout. Now, knowing all this likely wouldn’t have changed your mind about peas as a kid. But at least you would have understood what you were hiding under your potato.

Organic Flax Seed Protein: Unless you’re a fish, your body can’t make omega-3. No problem. Flax seed is one of the richest vegan sources of essential omega-3. This fatty acid with the science-fictional name is critical to weight management, retinal health, fetal development…omega-3 is a big deal, and Flax is an omega-3 kingpin. Flax is also high in soluble and insoluble fiber, low in carbs, maintains blood sugar levels, helps digestion, and ends with the cool letter X.

Organic Quinoa Protein: Quinoa is nearly unique in the Plant Kindgom. Why? It is a “complete protein”, rare plant matter that contains all nine essential amino acids. Think of it as a cow you can toss into a salad. Packed with fiber, iron, magnesium, manganese—Quinoa is strangely potent. In fact, NASA is looking very closely at Quinoa as a Controlled Ecological Life Support System (CELSS); a foodstuff for astronauts on long interplanetary flights. Which makes Quinoa as ancient as the Incans who cultivated it, and as modern as a trip to Mars.

Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein: The seemingly unremarkable pumpkin seed is an incredibly useful thing for the body. Packed with protein, heart-helping magnesium, immune-boosting zinc, liver love, and the natural sleep-aid tryptophan – this jack-o'-lantern confetti is all things to all people. From prostate props to menopausal mitigation, the mighty pumpkin seed is a friend to both Mars and Venus. Carotenoids and vitamin E round out the miracle. Did we mention antioxidants? Whew! This gourd will not leave you bored.

Organic Chia Seed Protein: Chia seeds can be spread over the backs of terra cotta animals to look like green hair. But there’s more! These crazily tiny seeds are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids (those again), fiber, antioxidants, iron, and calcium. Lean muscle mass? Check. Burning of excess fat? Check! Drop them into water and chia seeds soak up about 12 times their volume in a scant 10 minutes, producing a nutrient-packed gel that can stand in for eggs in vegan cooking. The Aztecs considered these granular little seeds almost miraculous for their stamina-boosting qualities. We do too.

Organic Coconut Sugar: Twice the iron and zinc of granulated sugar and rich in potassium, Coconut Sugar is produced from the sap of the coconut palm flower, and not from the plummeting nut known for knocking tourists unconscious. Coconut Sugar offers vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, and a variety of other nutrients. Plentiful in antioxidant phytonutients (naturally occurring plant-based anti-toxins) this tree-based sugar is a healthy alternative to processed sweeteners.

Organic Stevia: Derived from a South American plant of the same name, Stevia’s two main components are Stevioside and Rebaudioside A; and these are hundreds of times sweeter than table sugar. Stevia contains 0 calories and has a big fat 0 as its glycemic index, too. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, Stevia was also shown to have a blood-pressure lowering character, and an effect on insulin that would be of some help to type 2 diabetes patients. Lastly, it tastes really good in very small amounts, and if you shout its name in a crowded space, people named Steve will turn their heads. Another value-added.

Himalayan Pink Salt: The only salt known to have been discovered by none other than Alexander the Great, Himalayan salt is mined in the Punjab region of Pakistan. This far-flung table spice boasts a total of 84 minerals, including iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and chloride, as well as trace amounts of body-burnishing boron, fluoride, iodine, zinc, selenium and copper. The best part of Himalayan salt? You don’t have to scale the Himalayas to get it.

Organic Monk Fruit: Monk Fruit is a sweetener harvested from Southeast Asia. Remove the seeds and skin and crush the fruit, and the resulting extract is, like Stevia, about 200 times sweeter than sugar. Monk Fruit is native to China, and has been used there as a medicinal remedy for centuries. Monk Fruit is known to contain super-antioxidants called mogrosides.

Nutrients and Minerals: One serving of vegan protein contains 20g of protein and only 170 calories (160 Vanilla); a nice ratio that allows you to tread lightly on calories while getting that sweet infusion of energy and nutrition you rely on to power your day. KOS protein blend contains several superfoods that can boost the immune system, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and encourage weight loss. If you’re into that sort of thing.

Dairy, Gluten, and Soy Free: Organic proteins tend to be hypoallergenic, unlike whey-based protein derivatives, whose lactose content can also add bloating and gas to the mix, and—yes—to the room. Even soy protein has its issues. KOS ingredients are sustainably sourced and plant-based, requiring fewer non-renewable resources to produce than animal-based protein products. At KOS we believe in going around the middlecow and diving straight into the greens; and the protein-rich, resource-light purity of the plant kingdom.

DigeSEB Enzyme Blend: Amylase, Protease, Lipase, Lactase, Cellulase. Sound like a biology test? This proprietary enzyme blend helps the body embrace and capitalize on its ingested proteins, maximizing absorption and wasting less of the ingested component parts.

Does Not Contain Peanuts.
Contains Tree Nuts.

Review 1

This organic, non gmo plant based protein is the true MVP. I'm a Nutritionist and Exercise Physiologist and take food very seriously. What you put into your body is gold. You need to fuel it with the right things to feel good and sustain health. I have been on the search for a plant based protein thats not only healthy with ingredients I can pronounce but tastes good too AND blends to perfection and this my friends is what I've been looking for! I tried almost all the plant based proteins on the market and have been disappointed countless times. Either the protein is mega healthy and tastes like absolute garbage, doesn't blend well and is super chalky or the protein tastes great minus the healthy factor because its loaded with sugar and fillers. KOS plant based protein tastes like magic in a bottle AND its ingredient profile is off the charts! I love the fact that this product is made in the USA, low in sugar, is soy, gluten and dairy free and is organic, vegan and non gmo (which are all things that are important to me and what I believe a healthy protein/ food should be comprised of). As a plus this goodness is chalked FULL of BCAA's (amino acids your body can't make and needs through diet) If your workouts are intense say your crushing a grueling round of HIIT that leaves you sore for days, BCAAs can raise your fitness game a notch and even help torch fat while helping you recover from leg day much sooner. I can't say enough great things about this protein because it literally has everything I've ever dreamed a protein could have. It even has a vast supply of awesome antioxidants, omegas, vitamins and minerals. Whether you're a gym rat wanting to up your nutrition game or someone who just wants a healthy breakfast smoothie this protein is for you. My favorite way to make this smoothie is using my ninja blender cup- I place 4-5 ice cubes at the bottom, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/4 cup frozen strawberries, 2 scoops of KOS vegan vanilla protein, 1 cup(ish) unsweetened almond milk, a handful of organic spinach and 2 shakes of cinnamon. Blend for 30 seconds, stick a straw in and enjoy a dreamy getaway to smoothie heaven! Sometimes if I need an afternoon pick me up I make one of these bad boys and throw a few sprinkles on for good measure 🙂 I've also used this protein to make 3 ingredient coconut oil peanut butter cups and it tastes AMAZING and sets perfectly. I can't wait to check out the chocolate and use this protein in baked goods too! You won't be disappointed with your purchase and the price is unbeatable! This will forever be a staple in my pantry! Thanks KOS for making a protein I absolutly love and can feel good about putting into my body!

Review 2

Alright, I'll start off by saying this is the BEST protein powder I have ever had. I have tried multiple brands (big and small, MLM or bought at target) and a lot I have trashed. I have a degree in nutrition and fitness, I'm a wife, a boy mom chef, a very busy online nutrition and fitness professional.

I don't have time for crappy products. I don't want to be eating or drinking them, I won't recommend them to my clients and I certainly won't give them to my kids or family. Thankfully this product hit the amazing mark in everything.

1. The plant protein sources; pea, flax, quinoa, pumpkin and chia. Pea protein is an awesome source of protein along with the carbs we want. Flax and chia are great sources of omega 3's (which we all need more of since we are typically high in omega 6 which causes inflammation), Chia seeds are perfect for adding in additional fiber into our diets with very little effort. Quinoa is the perfect mix of protein and good carbs and pumpkin is amazing for our reproductive health – women and men!

2. The awesome enzyme blend; amylase, protease, lipase, lactase, and cellulase. Protease which digests protein.
Amylase digests carbohydrates. Lipase for fats and oils digestion. Lactase which digests dairy products. And cellulase that converts glucose. Who wouldn't want this in their protein shake?

3. The sweet stuff. Organic agave, Organic Coconut Sugar, Stevia, Monk Fruit. Perfect blend of sweet without being too sweet and a bonus because it doesn't upset any of the little bellies in my home.

4. The fruit and vegetable blend they have formulated is perfect! It leaves no grit, even with foods like quinoa and seeds being in it. It blends perfectly, super smooth, cooks well, freezes in other foods well, isn't clumpy, and it's $39? People pay $200+ for a shake that doesn't taste half as good and is loaded with things that can cause a lot of GI distress. I would easily pay $200 for this shake. They batch test their own products..no weird, sketchy other company needed. If something is too high – the ditch it!

5. This one is pretty important. Their customer service is amazing! I work in an industry where client relations is SO important and these guys nailed it with their team. They've answered tons of questions for me and have been so kind!

I ordered the Vanilla to try first – but I love it so much I know that the chocolate will be just as good if not better! I'll be ordering that tonight. Happy to say I will never have to try or search for another protein powder again! I will 100% be recommending this to ALL of my clients, family, friends and anyone I know because I love it that much!

Conclusion

KOS Organic Plant Based Protein Powder smells like real vanilla bean immediately after opening the tub – which was a pleasant surprise. There wasn't a weird super sweet or artificially sweet smell
